MAMMARY AUTO EXPLORATION

1: Stand in front of a mirror, check each breast to make sure their is nothing unusual like secretion in the nipples or any wrinkleless, depression or scares to the skin. The next two steps are changes in size or form of the breast. By doing this you will notice the muscles of the breast contract.

2: Observe carefully in a mirror put your hand behind your head push to the front. This exam is important for the breast each month getting familiar with the breasts. This will permit you to notice right way any change in your breast each month. Any early detection in any change is the objective of the auto exam.

3: Later with the elbows out put your hands put your hands firmly on your waist. Then put your shoulders and elbows to the front. Some women do this part of the exam in the bathroom. Fingers with soap with slip easily on the skin and it's easier to concentrate on the texture under the skin.

4: Lift your left arm. Using two or three fingers of you left hand, explore your left breast firmly, carefully and completely. Starting with the exterior part of the breast, tighten your fingers and start in small circles around the breast. Start exploring to the nipples making sure to cover the whole breast .Special attention to the region of the breast and axle. Tap to discover any nodule or mass that exist under the skin.

5: Softly squeeze the nipple and check if there is any secretion. Repeat this exam for your right breast.

6: Some women do the steps 4 and 5 lying down. If you wish to, lay down upwards with your left arm on your head and a pillow or towel folded under you left shoulder. This position flattens your breast making it easier for your exam. Use the same way, in a circle form tapping your breast. Repeat the same for your right breast.

You can try in both positions.

REMEMBER: THE AUTO EXAM CAN SAVE YOUR BREAST AND LIFE. MOST WOMEN CAN DETECT THE MAJORITY OF BULGES IN THE BREASTS. MOST BULGES IN THE BREAST ARE NOT CANCER.
